Bottle. It's a clear golden colored cider with a minimal sized white head and some carbonation. The aroma has just a vague hint of flowers, with fresh apple running the show. Notes of grass and bark. It's medium bodied and lightly carbonated, semi-dry on the palate, with a rather light acidity. Fresh apple, feeling like some generic imported yellow ones, with some well-ripened red ones from the tree, a hint of grass and bark, and the vaguest elderflower hint possible. It's more generic floral than specifically elderflowery. Medium length finish that feels a bit too sticky sweet, and the elderflower a bit more pronounced than initially. Anyway, sure nice, but I'd love some more elderflower, at least considering it's an elderflower cider. 211229

Bottle, 75cl. It's a clear one, golden in color, almost completely still. No head. The aroma is mostly on the pear side, but borderline apple, with some hints of cores and grass. Alcohol too, as well as some yeast and cellar. It's full-bodied and warming, smooth and softly carbonated, with a flavor that could easily be mistaken for apple. Pear dominates though, it's a bit sweet perhaps, with some grass, cellar hints, flowery notes and alcohol. Some yeast too, and a sweet, warming and pear driven finish. Sure a nice one, a bit sweet I think, but definitely one of the finer perries I've had. 211219

Bottle. Clear golden body under a white head. Nice aroma of apples with a mild floral touch. Taste is sweet apple and slightly bitter apple core. I’m really uncertain if I really can taste the elderflower berries or if it’s just placebo – at least it’s a pretty mild part of the flavors. Medium body (well balanced) with a pleasant aftertaste. A rather nice, straight forward cider on the sweeter side with no off flavors at all. Enjoyable.
