Description
Farmer Jim is a third generation cider maker from Devon. We use apples from the farm as well as neighbouring farms to make our traditional Devon Cider.

Bag in a box at Firkin Ale House Folkestone, orange amber clear white bubbles. Apple aroma. Slightly dry to be honest. I like it a lot interesting and very drinkable.

Polycask @ The Bree Louise, 69 Coburg Street, Euston, London, England NW1 2HH. [ As Farmer Jims Dry Cider ].ABV: 5.1%. Clear medium orange color with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy apple, sweet apple, tart apples, light apple vinegar. Initial flavor is moderate sweet, middel flavor is moderate sweet and vinegar, finish flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, medium dry, apple, sweet apple - skin, the middel vinegar is apple vinegar ish. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. [20140811]

Cask at Lock 25. Pours clear gold, still. Aromas of toffee apples, taste is sweet, thin. Sweet finish.

Bag in a box at Firkin Alehouse Folkestone. Clear gold still. Medium medium sweet perry. Some pear fruit juice. sweetish. Not a huge amount of character. Not sure its made of perry pears. Highly drinkable though.

Clear golden colour. Aroma of apple, skins, over-ripe apples. Quite sweet flavour, bit apple vinegar. Sweet apple finish.

Cask - Rich meaty apples. Clear gold with no head. Apple cider vinegar and bad. Watery and gross.

Bag in box. Pours a golden color with no head. Has a fruity apple aroma. Fruity spicy apple flavor. Has a fruity spicy ripe apple finish.

Draught @ Bree Louise. Pours gold, rich and fruity like alcoholic pure apple juice, very sweet, smooth and refreshing.

Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Naturally this is copper in colour. There’s not much aroma but it’s strong tasting however there’s enough apples to give it flavour, albeit and soured one.

Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Light golden with no head. Has a full apple aroma and taste with a light and appealing texture.
