Cask at GBBF 2014. It pours lightly hazy gold with minimal white head . The nose is pine, mild sourness, grain, citrus peel and not much else. The taste is tart, grainy, lemon peel, sherbet, funk, limeade, hay, mouldy wood, some acidity and wood with a dry finish. Light-medium body and low carbonation. Fairly simple, yet drinkable.

Growler thanks to agentzigzag. Pours deep opaque black with a large super creamy brown head that dissipates slowly and leaves exceptional lacing. Aroma is super roasty, coffee, lactose, cocoa. Flavor follows, very light sweetness, lightly bitter, very roasty, lots of coffee and ashtray, a bit of acid from said coffee. Medium plus body, creamy mouthfeel. I like this one.

32oz growler pours with a nice looking dark mahogany colored body that supports a thin tan head. The aroma offers up a nice dark roasted coffee note to go along with a smooth mix of lactose, malt sweetened chocolate and some dark roasted malts. The taste has lots of sweetness mixed with dark roasted malts and sliding into a grounding lactose like quality. Thereโs earthy chocolate notes in the background adding a pleasing depth to the experience. Overall this is on the sweet side for me but pretty nice flavor nonetheless.

Poured up on tap at Fate where it exhibited a murky opaque yet glowing gold to copper to orange juice looking body that supported a minimal head. The aroma offers up juicy mango thatโs cut by spicy Belgian yeasty notes where thereโs also a mild sense of citrus in the background. Smells nice. The taste delivers a pleasing fresh and crisp mix of ripe juicy mango and spicy Belgian yeastiness that creates a great balance. Like in the nose there seems to be a citrus like component lurking off in the distance. Wow, this is a refreshing and bursting with flavors summer brew.

Growler thanks to Ilya! Pours a clear pale gold with a white head that dissipates completely. Aroma is full of musty earthy wheat with a hint of tart lemons backing. Flavor is similar with earthy wheat and earthy lemon as well as a hint of funk backing. Finish is slightly dry.

Growler pours with a crystal clear gold body that supports a white head. The mild aroma offers up sweet malts, slightly funky earthiness and then ending a with a bit of soft vinegar and yeasty spiciness. The taste is modest in strength and begins with soft malt sweetened vinegar, mild malty notes, a dash of lime and then this moves into more vinegar notes that grow to take over the flavor. Interesting as it gets a little funkier as it warms too.

Called American Amber Ale at the brewpub. I popped the growler screw top and instantly got this dank aroma that rushed out of the neck of the growler. Cool beans. It pours with a clear copper body that has thick gold edges and supports a light tan head. The aroma offers up a dash of malt sweetness amid roasted malts, spicy hops and full up earthy dankness. Nice. The taste starts with a mix of spicy hops, floral hops and a modest level of roasted malts. Behind those notes lingers thin strands of estery like fruitiness. This has a nice flavor and the play between the roasted malts and spicy hoppy dankness works really well for me. I will definitely get more of this one.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub with a deep golden body that has lots of haze and supports a light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up big notes of sweetness, banana and cloves and not much else. The taste begins with smooth banana and a fairly firm spicy clove note before smooth sugary malts and modest malt sweetened smokiness murmurs to the surface. Pretty rich and bold for the style but pretty good too with a nice level of smokiness.
