Poured up on tap at the brewpub with a crystal clear gold body that supports a nice nearly bright white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up slivers of yeasty saison spices, soft and mild citrusy hops with a faint sweet smell in the background. The taste is right on the money in this Phoenix heat with crisp snappy and rich spicy yeast notes, smooth malt sweetened tangelo and grapefruit and then just a bit of hay or sort of grainy maltiness there for support. Terrific summer brew. It ends crisp fairly dry and demanding another sip.

32oz growler pours a translucent, dark orange with some lacing, clump, white head. Nose is very pithy citrus, grapefruit and orange, pine, soap, honey, malt, some kumquat. Flavor is mostly bitter, strong grapefruit, like biting through the rind of an orange, a little blood orange, kumquat, pine, honey, a little candy. Full bodied, sticky finish. A good beer, but very much in the vein of all DIPAs. Nothing really stick out, but still well made.

On tap at Fate. It pours with a dark mahogany body with dark brown edges and supporting a tan head. The aroma offers up dark roasted malts mixed with mild sweet toffee notes. The taste has dark roasted malts that are sweetened up by malts and a bit of molasses. Decent enough.

On tap at Fate, called Imperial. It pours with a clear copper body with thin gold edges and supporting a near white head of foam. The aroma offers up resin like hoppiness leaning quickly into citrus and mango tropical fruitiness. The taste is rich and pleasingly resiny with hoppy goodness that rings up grapefruit hop bitterness and some mango like tropical fruit. These hops are sweetened up just the right amount by a modest sweet malty base. Pretty solid IIPA.

On tap at Fate. It pours with a clear copper to gold body supporting a near white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up citrus and a touch of earthy malt sweetened up lime follow by a faint malty sense. The taste has a nice fairly crisp citrus hoppiness with a mild sweet malt backbone that gives it just the right depth. This offering seems to blur the line between Pale and IPA with its IPA body and firm hoppiness but it does have a solid degree of drinkability. I like this.

On tap at Fate. It pours with a clear copper body that supports an off white head of foam. The aroma offers to the nose full up roasted coffee beans that are attacking the senses. Behind that I get a modest degree of roasted malts off in the background. The taste delivers firm notes of cup-o-coffee that delivers plenty of fresh coffee roastiness. The roastiness is bold but not really dark or burnt. It is backed up by a modest degree of roasted malts. Pretty neat.

On tap at Fate. It pours with a clear copper body that supports an off white head of foam. The aroma offers up some sweetness from apples and raisins and a sense of sort of earthy malts. The taste has some malt roastiness and malt earthiness as well as a little bit of spiced red apple and raisins. I’m not really feeling this one come together.

On tap at Fate. It pours with a clear copper body that supports an off white head of foam. The aroma offers up citrus running into earthy malts and a dash of malt roastiness. The taste delivers up pale ale hoppy like tart citrus bitterness mixing with a modest degree of malt roastiness around the edges. This seems like a good hot weather selection as it is pretty refreshing and seems like a Pale Ale / Brown Ale hybrid. Nice brew albeit outside of the style some.

Growler pours clear deep gold with a thin off white head. The aroma offers up Belgian spicy yeast, apricot and then some orange citrus as well as some floral notes. The taste is similar with crisp fresh notes aided by a pleasing degree of hop bitterness. There’s a mix of coriander and clove like spiciness and light colored fruity esters. Tasty session beer.
