Dark brown, thin head. Chocolatey nose, but certainly smells light. Soft with a bit of sweetness and a bit of nutty malt. Light, and if you’re thinking impy I don’t think you’ll be happy. Not enough body, and just too fudgey for the style.

More or less bright gold. Notes of pine, orange, and mushroom (?) on the nose - an odd but interesting hop mix. Earthy, lots of earthy mushroomy hop with a touch of pine. Abundant pale malt, almost a bit of chewiness (deft balance on this one).

Hazy and pale with a thin head. Big melon aroma and they wrote cucumber in the description so of course I get that, too. That’s prominent on the palate along with cantaloupe, light yeast, and a mellow malt signature. Yummy.

Light amber, thin head. Earthy, with a bit of chewy, slightly biscuity malt on the nose. Bitter, with some chewyish malt, but not too much, a splash of alcohol, and overall good balance. A bit old schooly but in a good way because they did a great job.

Dark amber/light brown. Bit dull-looking though .Thin head. Has a nice caramel nose, bit crackery. Good balance, caramel accent but full bodied for style and balancing dryness.

Cloudy. Nice hop nose - ctz and citra both showing through. And it’s got a mellow yeast. Moderate bitterness, creamy, bit yeasty bit also juicy and balanced.

Light yellow. Thin head. Has a lactic aroma, just a regular kettle sour character, so not sure what the name references.

Straw colour. Grassy aroma with pepper notes. Very light palate, punctuated by a prominent vegetal chile, with grainy cream ale underneath. Low bitterness. The funny thing about this beer is that a hatch cream ale will never be something I would actually want to drink - it's a bland base beer and not the best chile for making beer. But. This is a solid cream ale and the chile is nicely balanced. It's a lousy concept that just happens to be very well-executed.

[Four Roses Bourbon barrel aged]
Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a near clear copper body that supports a thin white head of foam. The mild aroma offers up sugary smelling malts and clean soft bourbon booze. The taste delivers similar notes with smooth bourbon and slick sugary sweetness dominating the experience. Drinks reasonably ok though but could have spent less time in contact with the barrel.

Poured up on tap at Tipsy Cactus where it exhibits a murky opaque dull gold to straw body that supports a thin off white head of foam. The aroma offers up thin layers of tangelo and mango as well as faint hints of both tangy tangerine and oat. The taste delivers similar notes with semi bright and tangy grapefruit and tangerine as well as murmurs of soft mango and a bit of guava in the background. The modest kind of bright bitter citrus hops pulls this in the direction of refreshing. Solid.
