500ml bottle, #163, from Vinmonopolet Nettbutikk. Shared with Finn. Hazy amber-reddish body, patchy white head that laced quite fine. Inviting sweet smell of dried and dark fruits. Rather sweet taste of caramel malts, almond, grain, and dried fruits. Lingering dried fruity end. Heavy stuff and a tad too sweet for a higher score. (Session at Bergstua, Malangen 29.10.2020).

Fellesinnkjøp med Rune. Delt på Bergstua. Amber. Nesten klar. Veldig lavt skum. Tynn teppelacing. Mandelaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken rosiner & tørket frukt. Alkoholen merkes i en tørr avslutning.

Bottle at home. Courtesy of the brewery. Has a slightly hazy bronze colour with a very big light beige head. Aroma of phenols, hay, grass, cilantro, pepper and lime. Flavour of grass, hay, phenols and some lime. Some bread in the background. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a medium level bitterness. Nice aroma and pretty hoppy for a saison.

Bottle at home. Courtesy of the brewery. Has a clear dark mahogany colour with a small beige head. Aroma of oak, raisins, vinegar, licorice, rye bread, oat crackers and some barnyard. The flavour is sour at first with citric acid and hints of cherries, and more malty towards the end with rye bread, oak and some cinnamon. A little dry ending. Has a silky mouth feel, medium to full body and a light bitterness. Complex aroma but a little unbalanced flavour. More sweetness from the malt would help.

Bottle at home. Courtesy of the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy amber colour with a beige head. Sweet and malty aroma of brown sugar, caramel, apricots and oat crackers. Diacetyl as well. Flavour of caramel, dacetyl, apricots, grass and warming alcohol in the end. Has a soft mouth feel, full-bodied and a light bitterness. Sweet and malty. Looks nice, and is well balanced. Some diacetyl though.

Golden-amber colour, medium-sized white head and lace. Yeasty, fruity and piney aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweet overriped tropical fruits, yeast, nice piney hoppyness. Old but still potential bottle.

500 ml bottle, batch #171, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Hazy reddish brown colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma of blackcurrants, brettanomyces and red wine vinegar, some spicy hints. Medium sour flavour with the same elements.

Bottle. Black body with a dense beige head. Aroma of dark malt, chocolate and coffee. Taste is medium sweet, dark malt, chocolate, coffee and nice bitterness. Fine body and smooth aftertaste. A nice, well made, tasty, smooth imp. stout.
