Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, red apple, yeast, wheat, hint of sugar and some fruitiness. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long slightly dry, yeasty, apple and fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, 75cl. Almost clear in the glass, pale orange colored and with a big, dense, white head. Nice curtains. Sort of chalky yeastyness in the aroma, with orange zest and a generic fruityness. Some citrus and pale malts. It’s rather yeasty on the palate too, chalky and fruity with some pale malts in the flavor. Sort of buttery, not butterscotch but butter. Medium body, smooth carbonation. Long finish. Not very good this one, but there’s some qualities. 160130

500 ml bottle. Almost clear golden body with a light white head. Aroma is yeasty fruity with lots of esters, feels quite raw and not very delicate. Flavor is also quite raw and harsh with too much yeast and medium bitterness. Not very pleasant at all.

750ml swing-top bottle from Vinmonopolet Bestillingsutvalget. Makes a good shot when opened. Pours a hazy dark golden body topped by an one-finger thick pearl white head. Smell of sweet wheat and brown malts. Fruity flavours with ripe apples, banana and yeasty fruitiness. A backdrop of caramel malts. Smooth and drying finish. Quite well bodied. Decent (shared with Elisabeth, Jan Erik, Stefan and Finn during a big bottle session, Tromsø 16.12.2015).

750ml swing-top bottle from Vinmonopolet Bestillingsutvalget. A wheat haze to a golden body, poor lacing, bubbly, filmy layer at the top. Wheat with citric hints to the nose. Ripe lemon, wheat and yeasty esters to the taste buds. Mid-sweet ending. Standard stuff (big bottle session, shared with friends, Tromsø 16.12.2015).
