Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is strange grainy, weeds, yeast, old lawn, flowers, hay, dried grain, soil, nuts. Taste is slightly dry mineraly, hay, weeds, dried grain, minerals, harsh hops, wet grass, soil, bark. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh and watery mouthfeel. Meh!

Bottle 500ml. @ Carnival Tasting 2015, Denmark. [ As Laagen India Pale Ale ].ABV: 4.7%. Light unclear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, moderate hoppy, citrus, flowers. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a long duration, sharp, fruity, pale malt - caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150228]

500 ml bottle. Clear amber body with a big, fluffy and lacing tan head. A little sign of gushing in the start, but no problem as previous experience with this brewery made me prepared. Quite weak in aroma, a faint hint of caramel malt and fruit with something woody. The flavor is moderate sweet malt, hint of caramel, traces of fruit and a slightly harsh bitterness. Medium to thin body and a bit strange in aftertaste. At first just similar to the main flavor, then more bitterness ending up with something closer to sour. Not exactly unpleasant, but not with a good balance either. The label states this to be a strong brown ale, I can’t say they have succeeded with that. This beer is definitively not strong by any means, even considering the low ABV.

Orangebrun klar med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter nøtter, trevirke, bær og lett karamell. Søt fruktig, karamell med lett bitter humle, brent karamell i avslutningen.

Bottled@fonefan. Golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, mildly nectary along with some sweet maltiness to it. Flavour is fruity, floral, caramelly and has a nice wooden bitterness to it as well.
