Cask. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with no head. Astringently dry apple aroma with notes of perfumy rosebuds. Medium body, completely flat, astringent apples leaving tannins on your teeth. Not overly acidic though. 220110

From a polypin at the Wellington, Bristol 29/05/10. Golden coloured with slight carbonation. Slightly farty, barnyard aroma with some artificial sweetness. Flavour was similar, with some yeasty character and a rather heavy, saccharin sweetness. Ok.

Polycask at Banbury Beer Festival 06-05-10 Pours gold reasonable clarity. Aroma is a little sulphourous. Taste is quite strange, yes there is some sweetness but its an unusual one and I cannot quite put my finger on what it is. Have never tried this single varietal before so not quite sure what to expect, the sulphur comes across in the mouth as well, appleyness shows but its a strange apple and on this showing not totally to my taste. Polypin at the Orchard, Bristol 13/09/09. Hazy gold in colour with no carbonation. Dry apple aorma with a hint of barnyard funk. Not much apple in evidence in the flaovur, more oak and yeast, giving way to a finish that was dry without being acidic. Ok.
