Description
PINTA – We brew from the very first day of craft revolution in Poland!
Our great journey started on 28th of March 2011, when we brewed our first batch of „Atak Chmielu” („Attack of the Hops”) – first commercial American IPA in Poland.
Since that day we are still brewing new ales, lagers, sahti and sour beers. Alone or in collaboration with our friends from Polish and foreign breweries.
Whilst last five years we’ve produced beers in more than 60 styles, like: Imperial IPA, Sahti, Sticke Alt, Irish Red Ale, Imperial Witbier, Extra Special Bitter (ESB), Rauchbock, Grodziskie, American IPA, Weizenbock, Oatmeal Stout, Schwarzbier, Scottish Ale, Vienna Lager, Rauchbier, Pumpkin Ale, Rice IPA, Biere de Garde, Imperial Baltic Porter, New Zealand Lager and many, many more!
In 2015 we’ve launched brand new series of sour beers. It all started with rye sour ale called Kwas Alfa, brewed with Tobias Emil Jensen from Danish To Øl brewery.
We were also the first Polish brewery which crossed the border and brewed international collaborative beer outside Poland. That’s how we’ve produced Lublin to Dublin – stout brewed in Dublin, Ireland by Pinta and O’Hara’s breweries in 2014. In 2015 we’ve made collaboration with French Brasserie du Pays Flamand and Danish To Øl mentioned before. Autumn of 2015 bring another innovation in Polish craft. We are the first Polish brewery which brewed a beer in the different continent – with Japanese Baird Brewing Co.
You can be sure that we use all our experience and knowledge to give you the best beers we can afford! We still improve our skills and we are not afraid to make experiments. We love travels – even those furthest. We always bring a lot of the best inspirations from other countries and we are trying to share them with you, creating the best beers we can.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Schroppfy. Pours an almost clear amber with an off-white head. Sweet citrusy hop aroma. Medium body, a little caramellish, again some citrusy hops, licorice and a little metal. Dry and hoppy if not overly bitter finish. Not a great IPA, but a great Polish IPA! 080911

bottle, with many thanks to Schroppfy! Clear, chestnut colour, large off-white head. Fruity-hoppy nose wioth roaseted malts. Light-bodied, shy malty background, full of flavours of roasted malts, cocoa powder, shy hints of freshly ground espresso coffee. Very slightly fruity, with very faint hints of smoke (?). Astonishing how much flavour they packed in this beer with only 3.2%. Superb session beer. Thanks a lot, Schroppfy!

bottle, many thanks to Schroppfy! Hazy pale golden yellow, large white head. Lovely hoppy aroma, citrusy and resiny. Full-bodied, solid malty base complements the intensive citrus hops flavours with hints of resine and grass. Very well balanced, well crafted, smooth and delicious IPA. Superb stuff.

bottle, with thanks to Schroppfy! Clear brownish-golden colour, large off-white head. Aroma of caramel-malt and hops. Medium-bodied, lovely malt flavours with caramel, bitter chocolate, slightly dry palate. Dry and bitter hops tune in towards the finish. A well-crafted Vienna from a reliable brewer.

RATING # 5.000 - bottle @ 2.6% ABV, kindly donated by Schroppfy! Finally, a Grodziskie/Grätzer style beer. I was loking forward to the style being revived - now I’ve got it here in my glass. Cloudy, pale golden-brown colour, small off-white head leaving bits of lacework in the glass. Shy aroma of smoke. Very light-bodied start, quite smoky at the beginning, the smoke getting fainter later on. Shy malty-wheaty background flavours, with a pleasant bitterness lingering about. That all goes very well together with the smoke. Highly drinkable, perhaps due to the rather low carbonation level and even refreshing, yet very unusual. I always thought that it was similar to a Berliner Weisse only with some smoe - it is not, there is absolutely no sourness detectable as it would be in a Berliner Weisse. Thank you, Michael, for sending me this beer, I enjoyed it immensely! Cheers to all my friends on ratebeer!
