Hazy and a bit of a dull blonde colour. The aroma has some light gooseberry sort of fruitiness - I'm thinking that's the Idaho 7. Smells like a fair bit of residuals, and random esters. I want to like Sacc Trois, but it's been hit and miss for me. On the palate, it's a touch funkier - a clean funk, but funk nonetheless. It almost seems dry until you realize there's a ton of residual malts, to the point where it's quite sticky. Not much bitterness at all - you can tell it's very low IBU, and I'm not sure that's appropriate for Sacc Trois as it might be for, say, Brett C. Anyway, the body is big because of all that sugar, but it creates balance issues, and gets in the way of the Idaho 7 and Citra, both of which you notice but seem sort of muted here. Could certainly be better - feels like the brewery is experimenting with this yeast as the fermentation is the biggest issue. Might sound petty but it feels like I'm paying for someone to learn on the job.

473ml can. Pours a hazy gold with a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that leaves plenty of lacing. Mild aroma of pale malt, pineapple, guava, grapefruit and funky yeast. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy pale malt, pineapple, guava, passion fruit and grapefruit in a dry, slightly funky yeast finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Pleasant and easy to put back.

Medium clear gold body and very nice foam, soft simple sweet grains on the nose. Flavour is indeed saison grains with just a bit of tartness, very underplayed, very subdued. A little watery on the mouthfeel. Just pulling back ever so slightly might impress the suburban crowd but otherwise it's pretty forgettable.

Poured from 473mL can. Murky purplish red with white cloudiness and off white head. Fairly mild berry, touch of citrus hops, light lactose. Very underwhelming and a bit of a messy blend.

Pale colour, Thin head. The aroma has coffee and a bit of cinnamon. Lots of coffee on the palate, maybe with a bit of vanilla/lactose. All kinds of coffee. This is a really odd one, not sure it's hitting for me, especially with some random cinnamon.
