47,3 cl can @ Timo A’s Go Nucks! tasting. Aroma has sweet malt and peaches. Also mild milky sourness. Flavour has milky sourness, some orange and lemon. Simcoe meets berliner weisse. Not usually a big fan of sours of this type but this was good.

On tap in Port Moody. Smells like a whole lotta nothing, even when inhaling deeply. Has an okay lighter gold body with a bit of white head. Flavour is good grains, a bit of spicy saison feel there too. Mouthfeel is full enough. It's pretty good for a table beer and at the proper alcohol level.

Can. Amber colour with a dull haze. The aroma is like this big rye bread chewy oxidized thing. Similar palate. There's a lot of rye. Spicy and fruity, but basically nothing behind it. Just dull malts, oxidation everywhere, and maybe some sloppy alcohol and legitimately shitty bourbon in the finish. But that's it. This just goes nowhere, in this odd combination of boring and sloppy.

Can. Light amber with a slight haze. Fairly thick head. Has an overripe fruit aroma, with orangey notes and a touch of rye. Thick malts, fairly sticky, with a lot of bitterness, more than the IBUs promise. Sticky chewy malt finish - DIPA isn't really the best place for rye, honestly. Tropical hops are clashy with this malt bill, and there's a lot of alcohol in the finish. I don't mind the elements - ok the malts aren't to my taste - but it's more the way things come together (or don't) that I think aren't great.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Darker shade of blond, slightly hazy; the head disappears, quickly. The aroma is very nice, it's delicate and fruity, with a whiff of papaya. Dry mouthfeel, too weak; not getting much from the malt base, while the fermentation, instead of those nice and fragile Brut notes, produced a distinctive vegetable character.
Mediocre.

Blond colour, hazy, with small frothy head. The aroma is mellow, faint fruit, sweet malt. It manages to be quite crisp and sweet at the same time; simple but non obstructing malt base, sweet candy fruit, pineapple, and relatively low bitterness.
Clean Milkshake IPA, pleasant.
