650ml bottle at Brian’s office. Pours a clear golden with a weak tan hear. Aroma is candied oranges. Taste is malty, bready, hoppy bitter with veggie notes. Still too bitter.

Golden amber. On the nose, just sort of plasticy and maybe some rice syrup. On the palate, just big, sticky, no coherent character but a lot of malt all over the place, with alcohol in the finish, and it’s just sort of messy.

Tasting at Matt’s
Blond color, clean. Nice crisp malt aroma. Crisp flavor, good malt; the hopping is grassy, I guess there is something else than Citra; a bit too dry and even astringent in the final.

Straw colour, without much head. Aroma is a bit grassy, with a shitload of pedio. (Get it? Shitload). The hops are coming through much cleaner on the palate, with a lot of bitterness, just the thinnest, lightest bit of malt. So aiming for something northern German, maybe? Ok - the pedio is not good but the other character isn’t bad.

650mL bottle, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out light grass, crackery malt, and some citrusy hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with citrusy hops, some grass, and biscuity malt. Finishes dry and with a hoppy astringency. Nice stuff.

Hazy, light amber. Has a fairly fresh, bright wheat beer aroma, apples, but also paint thinner phenols. This has a fair bit of banana, with some dusty, appley, character, low bitterness, and ultimately this isn’t half bad.
