Hazy golden and copper coloured body with a thinnish off-white head that fades relatively quickly. Aroma of wheat, coriander seed, pungent grassy and herbal hop smell with a good deal of alcohol as well, nice complexity. Medium-bodied; Strong assertive wheaty flavour with a good grassy and floral hoppy note and a ton of orange and citrus notes along with a great belgian and german yeast complexity. Aftertaste shows tons of coriander seed, curacao, yeast and grass with a lot of alcohol and floral qualities - nicely complex. Overall, a nice beer for the style with a lot of hops and a lot of complex yeast characteristics - great to finally sample a very nice beer here in British Columbia. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from the Crosstown Liqour Store in Vancouver, British Columbia yesterday on 07-June-2015 for CA$6,00 sampled in my hotel room here in the centre of town in Vancouver, BC on 08-June-2015.

2015-07-20, draught at Big Rock Urban Brewery, Vancouver, 12oz; 6-4-7-3-14=34
Hazy dark amber color with small head. Slick beer, caramel based, but not sweet; strong bitterness, lightly resiny, but almost not fruity at all. The final is a tad too bitter.
Solid old school IPA.

2015-04-18, bottle from Brewery Creek, Vancouver; bottled Mar 26 2015; 6-5-7-4-13=35
Amber color, clean, with medium sized head. The aroma has some biscuity malt, caramel, and the hop is mildly resiny, not much fruity; a bit old style but nice. Chewy caramelly malt flavor, with light residual sugars; correct bitterness level, the hops, again, are a bit resiny.
Clean, balanced, yet not as fruity as they tried to convince you, but a good beer anyway.

Bottle, Legacy. Light amber colour. The aroma has a lot of bright, floral hops, with a mango-pineapple note. The taste is chewier than is necessary, and this mutes the hops, which do retain a little of the floral character. Bitterness is only moderate.

Bottle from Legacy. Amber and quite hazy, with a bubbly head. The aroma is older, oxidized hop, even though this beer hasn’t been on the market long. So there’s a brightness issue. The taste is mid-90s APA, with fairly chewy crystal malts, a bit of biscuit, and quite a bit of piney hop with pithy bitterness. A little too old-fashioned for me.

650 ml bottle. Pours an opaque, dark brown with a medium, tan head that laces. Spicy aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, dark chocolate, roasted malt, nuts and a hint of vanilla. Very spicy flavour of nutmeg, cinnamon, roasted malt, dark chocolate, nuts and vanilla with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. A good Winter Seasonal beer, if you like spice!
