Draught at WaaZuBee Café, Vancouver
Pale blond color. The frying oil smell in the bar doesn’t help, but the aroma of this beer is almost absent. Flavor is missing too, with dry mouthfeel, and no honey to talk about. Bland.

2012-01-16, draught at Memphis Blues on W Broadway, Vancouver, 6-4-7-3-13=33
Amber color. An honest Pale Ale, with reasonably good malt flavor, some caramel, light residual sweetness, and good hopping, even with some aromatic component. Refreshing (although I preferred having the IP’eh at this restaurant).

2010-03-16, draught at Amberjack Tap House, Surrey, BC, 5-4-5-2-10=26
Dark amber color; small creamy head. Dusty aroma, light roasted malt, very light cheese. Dry mouthfeel, dry caramel flavor, reasonably strong bitterness. Easy.

Draught at Amberjack Tap House, Surrey, BC
Blond color; creamy head. Surprisingly... Lemon aroma. Dry Lager, poor flavor, with a disturbing lemon presence. Strong bitterness. Bah.

Kinda reminded me of Cherry Coke, but not so sweet, but with some whiskey notes. Looked similar too. Certainly not bad stuff, but not overly balanced or complex.

A blonde ale with a thick receeding white head. In aroma, light chalky malt with notes of corn syrup. In mouth, a lightly acidic malt with biscuitty notes, faint honey, rather mundane. Trade with Piscator, thanks Kris.

A light brown copper ale with a thin moka head. A very nutty malt aroma with touches of milk chocolate. In mouth, a sweet caramel malt with torrefied nuts notes, actually not bad, veering on nut brown ale. Medium bodied. 12 on. can from Piscator. Merci Kris!

An amber ale with a tin light moka head. Aroma of light metallic hops, and caramel extract. In mouth, a nutty caramel malt, veering on brown ale with some faint grassy hops, like Rickards Red with a bit more malt. Not bad, but rather pedestrian. Can from MLCC, courtesy of Piscator. Thanks Kris.

A light golden lager with a thin white head. A light corny adjunct aroma with light metallic hops. In mouth, a boring lager with light malts, some honey notes, grainy, nothing special.
