Tap as Mini-Separation Anxiety at 4.5% at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours brassy gold with a creamy white head. Lots of citrus/pine and mixed fruits in the aroma. It smells like what you want it to. :) Med body or nearly. It’s crisp/clean with mixed fruits, citrus, pine, and barely enough caramel to notice. Finishes nicely bitter. Good session ale. Very.

On tap at Beer Rev. Aroma is slightly malty with some cracker and biscuit character. Moderate hop notes of citrus and tropical fruit with a moderate stone fruit character. Balanced pine resin. Pours a slightly cloudy, golden orange with a small, thick white head. Moderate lacing and medium light legs. Flavor is similar with a medium light malt character and some light sweetness. Moderate hop character with medium strong bitterness. Some light alcohol notes. Moderate citrus notes with some orange and lighter tropical fruit notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Low astringency and medium low to low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice, balanced West Coast IPA with a decent hop character bit nothing special.

On tap at Beer Revolution. Aroma is slightly malty with cracker malt character and a nice hop forward citrus and pine resin note with some light tropical fruit. Pours a clear golden orange with a small thick, white head with good retention. Nice lacing and faint legs. Flavor has a medium light maltiness with some sweetness and a bit of grain and cracker character. Medium strong bitterness with a moderate hop flavor. Mostly grapefruit and stone fruit with some pine resin. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a good clean beer but it was stronger than I was expecting for a mini IPA. Rather malty and not as hoppy as I would expect.

Sample at Mikkeller Bar SF. Amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and roast malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of hops, grapefruit and sweet malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours sort of golden perry color with a white head. Floral/fruity aroma. Med body. Flavor is sharp floral/fruit/earth/citrus. Caramel left in the shade. Hop is not harsh, but there’s more than a mild burn. The hop is a bit different, but this is very tasty beer.
