Poured from a 16 oz can dated April 16, 2024. Aroma is malt forward with really nice notes of bread, toasted bread, and caramel. A light, herbal floral hop notes and faint alcohol notes. Pours a very clear, brilliant copper amber color with a large, thick, fluffy, slightly off white head that recedes super slowly to a small film that lingers. Rather high lacing and faint legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with lots of toasted bread, caramel, and cracker notes. A hint of corn. Medium low bitterness and faint alcohol notes. Light woody, spicy hop notes. Moderately crisp, dry finish. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Light astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty tasty Mexican lager. Really nice malt notes with some balanced hop notes and bitterness. A fairly crushable beer but one that leaves some lingering malt and hop notes.

Tap at Mojos Bar in Sacramento, CA. Pours gold with a moderate white head. Floral aroma. Medium body. Dry and lightly bitter. Flavor is hibiscus and an odd veg thing that I think is cactus. Interesting.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours bright gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma of herb, lemon grass and pale malt. Med body. Dry and moderately bitter. Rice seems discernible. Flavor has something like dill. Lemon grass too. A little spicy sensation on the tongue. Pils? Why not.

Can at 7% from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours clear gold with a decent creamy white head. Aroma is dusty/yeasty/earthy/fruity. Med body at least. Flavor is yeasty/earthy with melon, citrus and pale stone fruit. A bit different, but very enticing and tasty flavor. Plus ups for that.
