On tap at Kulshan K2, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out bright floral and piney hops, and dry biscuity malt to back. Flavour is along the same lines, with piney and floral hops, and a dry buttery biscuity malt backbone. Finishes rather astringent but with good balance. Very much characterized by the floral hops. Good stuff.

On tap at Kulshan K2, pours a clear golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of diacetyl, resinous hops, and bready caramel. Flavour is unfortunately infected too, with diacetyl and other weird chemical notes, with some resin and bready notes. Not sure what they were going for here, but it's a mess.

An unclear, yellow colored beer with a small, white head. Itβs rather chalky on the nose, yeasty, with a nice orangey fruityness. Piney, resiny notes too. Itβs quite dry on the palate, with a nice carbonation level, although a tad high. Orange peel, resins and some pale malts in the flavor. A bit yeasty too. Lasting finish with yeast notes, pale malts, resins and pine cones. Some peppery hints. Quite nice this one, but too yeasty I think. 150227

Draft - Vintage 2013 - Orange and lots of Christmas spice. Clear copper with a beige head. Lots of spice no not much else. With a year of age, I expected it to mellow a bit, but still tons of cinnamon, nutmeg and the rest,

Draft - Caramel and a bit of raisin. Deep Amber with a decent beige head. Nice caramel notes and pumpkin? There is an odd sweetness and without the spice itβs hard to place. A reasonable beer nonetheless.

Draft - Vintage 2013 - Orange peel, slight tartness and candy with some light spice. Clear gold with a decent white head. Orange peel, spice, herbal and floral notes with a very long bitter finish. Vintage 2014 - Caramel and sweet orange. Clear orange gold with a rich beige head. Tons of orange herbal notes and bitterness. I was told it has spruce tips, which is pretty telling after the fact. Too herbal and bitter for my taste.
