Bright golden, nice big pale malt, biscuity, yummy. Not all that Belgian, but the malts are nice, just a nice subtle hop accent. Solid, at least if you don’t think of it like a saison.

Hazy and quite pale, though maybe a little but greyish. Thin head. Oranges and spice, on the palate this is very orangey. A bit husky maybe but decent.

500 ml bottle. Pours a dark reddish brown with light head. Big aromas of caramel, malty alcohol, sugary raisins and nutty chocolate. Flavors of brown sugar, raisins, graham cracker, sweet hot bourbon, and chocolate malts. Hot sweet finish. Alcohol is obvious but adds more than distracts. Great stuff.

500 ml bottle. Pours black with moderate tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate syrup, oily coffee, vanilla and slick roasted malts. Flavors have some initial creamy softness, but quickly followed by bitter dark chocolate, black coffee, and dry roasted malts. Very dry bitter finish.

Bomber from Tavour. Dark brow., barely there head, some light around the edges. Big, sugary, malty aroma, raisins, molasses. Taste brings mild sweetness, raisins, chocolate. Warmth comes late and stays with you all the way down the gullet. A liquid Chunky bar, doaked in alcohol. Smooth, tasty, fulfilling.

12 oz. can, pours a hazy dull orange with a small, quickly-dissipating white head. Aroma is loaded with salt, followed by lacto, and a touch of orange peel. Flavour is bright and spritzy, with a good mix of salt, crisp and biting orange peel, some citrus, and gentle lacto. Very salty and bright. Good stuff.
