Draft at the Merrifield location. Poured a clear light orange color with a small, wispy head. Brut? That's a name I haven't heard in a long time. Champagne yeast produces a moderately dry beer. Big floral notes, light fruit. Big, tasty throwback.

Pretty sure this was a 16oz pour, but it might have been 12oz. This batch was pretty good! Nice caramel and light toffee. Very smooth for the 10.4 abv. Light citrus. Perhaps a touch light on the robust caramel and booze you'd often find in a barley wine. Would very much drink again. I know this place is a bit overlooked these days from the beer rating world, but some of the brews, this in particular, were well brewed and fantastic.

Draft pour at the Merrifield location. Pours a hazy orange color with a small, creamy off-white head. Aroma was big bitter citrus notes, really good malt backing. Definitely a bit of an old school beer, it was a nice throwback.
