This is a relatively light impy that has a great molasses character. The lightness allows it to be highly drinkable, but there is a lot of malt complexity and richness here. You get burned dark fruits, dryness, massive malts, basically everything a great imperial stout has, but without being so boozy.

At first glance in a sample size, I didn’t really think it would amount to much, but something told me to get a proper size. Glad I did. The beer came alive in a larger format, with dry and dusty saison yeast, herbal hops throughout the finish, a pleasing dryness, and a pale malt character that I thought brought in just a hint of biscuitiness. While yeasty, it was clean in the way that all good Belgian-style beers are. I wanted more.

A badass mosaic showcase, with clean and light pale malts underneath. Given that I seem to always like the fruitiness of mosaic, and the balanced bitterness, I found this to be very delicious.

The basic blonde is, more or less, nothing special, but I found the blueberry/blackberry hop notes and mellow malt balance worked well. In a roster of multiple 4+ beers, this isn’t a highlight, but it is good for what it is.

This pale beer has what I found to be an overripe peach aroma but a very nice, clean peach flavour. The wheaty body was light, making for a refreshing beer all round.

Grumbler brought back from my friend Steve.
This was poured into a pilsener.
The appearance was a hazy yellow to orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. Light lacing was there and ends up smoothing it’s way around the glass.
The smell was a sweet crisp citrusy tangerine memorable combination of floral notes.
The taste took all of those flavors to combine and come across in a sweet crisp way.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a good sessionability about it. The carbonation was there and decent for the style and good for me. Gentle yet somewhat harsh citrus rolls across my tongue.
Overall, premium lager, hot damn, this is definitely one of the better ones of its style.

Bottle thanks to my friend Matt: Poured a golden white with fluffy white head. Aroma is strong Belgian yeast, clove and spice. Taste is interesting with a mysterious hop and Belgian yeast mix, nice very refreshing beer with a light spice finish.

Bottle from 49th State: Poured light but thickened to a brown red with tan head. Aroma is strong dark fruit raisins. Taste is similar with strong raisin and fig, melded well with yeast and light alcohol burn. Finish was dry and malty.
