Cloudy pale vanilla yellah. Wew, quite strong initially. Big alky frontal assault. Yes, a strong alky kick to this even tho its only 6.5%. From the start it want to get in yer face. Medicinal kick in the palate towards the end. Mouth coating Has an ever so slight BO aroma about it.

At the brewpub. Cloudy brownish beer. Barely any aroma but what is there is decent flora. Flavors of tea. Well done and easy to take. Like this. Can barely detect any alky in this one. Pretty good overall beer drinken experience. Civilized, I enjoyed this.

Clear orange beer, somewhat like the better yuengling. Quite good initially, much better than expected. Hides alky well, rather mellow for 7 plusser. Good co2 all round. Probably one of the more civilized and well behaved maibocks I’ve had. Does have a tad of medicine feel on the finish but overall, good stuff.

On tap at bocktown, really nice beer tasting place with beer tasting eye candy. Darker brownish beer like ice tea color. No head. Big strong rye fer sure. IPA feel is the backbone but that rye makes it sharper some how. Laid back in some ways. Eases off after the initial kick in the jaw. Clean clear smell with no sense of rye in there, just the taste. Quite flat overall. Terribly on style for a rye ipa.

1 of 3 good beers I had at bocktown. Darker with slight aroma odf slag. First taste is easy a layed back. Good experience from the start. Easy peasy. Yes, a nice xample of how a fest beer can be done, one of the smoother ones I’ve done. Better than most of this style. Yes, good overall impressions, not rude in any way.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a vibrant golden color with a small foamy white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was tangy, sweet and yeasty. The flavor was tangy and sweet bread dough, moderate golden fruits and a bit of sugar. Medium length finish. Medium body. Pleasant.
