This brew pours a clear yellow-gold color with a medium thick white head that evaporates steadily. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops and bready malt, with a bit of fruit in the background. The finish is mildly bitter with a short grassy hops aftertaste. Slightly below average overall.

Can from MrBarleywine, thanks for the opportunity! Clear deep reddish brown color with a tightly bubbled tan head that dissipates quickly. Heavy toffee and caramel maltiness with an earthy edge to counter. Rich sweet caramel maltiness with earthy and bits of oxidation obviously present. Medium to thin body moderate carbonation. Middle of the road Irish ale with a bit of an oxygen problem.

On tap at the Bocktown, nice place and this is a nice beer. Much better than anticipated. Considering all the rude golden and blond beers I’ve had lately this is a refreshing return to the style. Looks like pale lager but the intial taste of this is so wonderful. Smell is rather crisp and clean. the taste is fresh wet hay and grassy cut fields. Easy and fun to enjoy. Good job on this. Nice co2 and a good finish as well. No ill attributes! Glad to have run into this baby.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a pinkish salmon color with a medium sized foamy white head that faded and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was cracker, almost nut and faint vague berry. The flavor was surprisingly dry, a bit tart, cracker, a touch off with a vague berry note but not in a pleasant way. Medium length finish. Medium body. Not well done.
