Bottle picked up from BBP Dansaert, Brussels. Had this Friday 27th February 2026 around Isobel's, Spond, Herefordshire whilst thinking about making a Chicken Tikka Masala. Pours yellow with a mid sized white head. Nice gentle and soft carbonation, not sure why this is a Winter Blond, I would have expected a little winter spice, there doesn't appear to be any, but tbf there is a little regular spice Belgian edge. Light sweetness, a little bit fruity, not necessarily picking up any apple though. Decent beer. Score 7.1

Pours dirty gold/yellow with a clingy white head. The nose is mostly citrus, but there is an apricot touch also. The flavour follows a similar trajectory but leaning more towards summer fruits, peaches, apricots but with a streaky citrus tang. It's a nice beer. Score 7.3

Pours hazy, murky, warm yellow/gold, white soft textured head, the aroma is mostly citrus dominant, there's grapefruit and sweet orange but also a tropical leaning, taste followingva similar trajectory, a little bitterness. Nice DIPA, wow that's two Cornish beers for me today. Score 7.5

Bottle that Jude and Baz picked up directly from Pōhjala brewery in Tallin. Had this, shared with Baz 26th February 2026 at Jude and Baz's, Spond, Herefordshire we (mostly Loz) made Pizza for everyone, I just assisted. Pours dark brown with a filmy head. Lovely mouthfeel, there's a little spiciness but super easy drinking. Light chocolate and light spiciness throughout. Good. Score 7.6

Bottle picked up from Beyond Beer Webshop, Hamburg. Had this, shared with Baz 26th February 2026 at Jude and Baz's, Spond, Herefordshire we (mostly Loz) made Pizza for everyone, I just assisted.. Pours dark brown, peeling away at the edges, filmy top. The bourbon is quite forward, all told it's not quite as smooth as I would like but nonetheless it's a good Imperial Stout, liked it but yeah easily bettered by that stunning first Pōhjala this evening. Score 7.6
