Can from Mr Hop beer advent calendar Day 13 I believe, though clearly being consumed over a week late on day 21. We picked this up directly from the webshop, Vernray, Netherlands. Consumed at home Sunday 21st December 2025 after meeting up with Kerry, Oli and family at the International Weihnachtsmarkt in Bayerisch Eisenstein, we're watching some of the performances of Live Aid back in 1985, not sure why but it's very interesting. For tea we had, Clams, Feta, Chorizo in a rich tomato and onion sauce. Pours dark brown, unclear, there's an off white head.Warming from the off though surprisingly it's not a really boozy beer. Smooth slightly thick in the mouth, hints of toffee and caramel but dried dark fruits and a richness flood through. A very good beer and very drinkable considering the hefty abv. Score 7.3

Can from Mr Hop beer advent calendar Day 21, we picked this up directly from the webshop, Vernray, Netherlands. We had Clams, Feta, Chorizo in a rich tomato and onion sauce. Consumed at home Sunday 21st December 2025 after meeting up with Kerry, Oli and family at the International Weihnachtsmarkt in Bayerisch Eisenstein, we're listening to A Certain Ratio - Force following a recommendation from Oli. Pours warm gold with a mid sized white head, nice mouthfeel. A little juicy and the abv is noted but it's not intrusive. There's a little bit of punchy tropical fruit, overripe fruit, good beer. Score 7.3

Can and my day 17 beer, Mr Hop advent calendar, picked up from Mr Hop webshop, Venray, Netherlands though consumed on day 20, Saturday 20th December 2025 in the company of Rasti and Yousef. We made a huge Persian meal today with Rasti and Yousef and it was fantastic. This beer pours black the head didn't hang around for long, do forgot to take details. Nice mouthfeel, smooth, with waves of cocoa and chocolate flavours throughout. The roasty bitterness is in the lower scale with this beer. It's very enjoyable and a great effort from Nepo and Mr Hop. Score 7.8

Can from online order that contributed towards the advent calendar that I curated for Loz. Picked up from Mr Hop webshop, Venray, Netherlands. Had this at home Friday 19th December 2025 listening to Nathan Shepherd Indie Forever on 6Music. We had homemade Chimichangas for tea tonight, was lovely. Pours dark brown with a ruby glint, large off white head, sticks to the glass as it drops. Clean, fresh, and light nuttiness but with a little roastiness and toasty linger. This is lovely. Score 7.6

Can from Mr Hop but this was an online order that contributed towards the advent calendar that I curated for Loz. Picked up from Mr Hop webshop, Venray, Netherlands. Had this at home Friday 19th December 2025 listening to Afrodeutscha on 6Music. We had homemade Chimichangas for tea tonight, was lovely. Pours lemon meringue yellow with a mid sized white head. A touch aggressive on the hop front but somehow it's just about kept in check, it could be disastrous but wow it's impressive because it cleverly offers you everything but pulls back from the abyss. The hoppiness literally floats above your tongue, hangs around then comes back down your nose. A little bit lemony, this is an in yer' face beer.

Can that from my Mr Hop advent calendar, picked up from the Mr Hop webshop, Venray, Netherlands. Had this at home Friday 19th December 2025 listening to Afrodeutscha on 6Music. We had homemade Chimichangas for tea tonight, lovely. Pours dark brown with a lovely light cappuccino coloured head. Thickness in the mouth, a little boozy, however this is really smooth, silky, very Belgian, there's dark molasses, okay it's a bit sweet, light spicy, warming. Good beer but a tad too sweet. Score 7.0
