Bottle. Looking forward to try this one. First Geuze I'll have with roasted wheat malt. Interesting label. Color: Clear orangish brown, long lasting dense off-white head. Aroma: Clearly present Cognac, funk, some tartness. Taste: A messy blend of Cognac, funk, moderate fruity tartness (lime, berries), some wood and some dark / roasted malt, hints of caramel and a bit earthy. Medium body, below average carbonation. Tasting a bit like lemonade or candy, somehow. Light to moderate tartness. Unpleasantly surprised, I was expecting a lot better, especially for an anniversary Geuze.

Can. Color: Lightly hazy amber, frothy white head. Aroma: Hop and malt, citrus fruit and caramel. Taste: Hoppy wirh dirm caramel malt base. Fruity notes of citrus fruit and pineapple. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Moderate to over moderate sweet and bitter. Ok, but not one of the best. Boozy hints. Would benefit from some more carbonation.

Bottle. Color: Very dark copper, fast disappearing mocha-colored bubbles. Aroma: Dark dried fruit, vinuous, Bourbon notes, hints of Brett funk. Taste: No carbonation, vinuous red wine / Port-like, oxidation, dark dried fruit (figs, dates), Bourbon, oak wood and almond notes and subtle Brett notes. Lightly boozy hints. Full body. Sticky mouthfeel. Medium sweet with a moderate to over moderate bitterness and slighly tartness. Interesting. A lot of flavours to explore. Very likeable for an Old Stock Ale lover like me.

Bottle. Color: Lightly hazy golden to orange amber, large white head. Aroma: Subtle oak wood, funk and fruity tartness. Taste: Smooth and subtle flavors. Very easy drinkable Geuze. Entry-level. Some fruity lemon and berries, oak wood, tannins, subtle rural funk. Light to moderate tart and light sweetness. Medium body, just below average carbonation. A bit monotonous. Ok overall.

Straight from bottle at De Kas Woerden. Taste: Malty, wort, floral hints. Compared with a lot of other low / non alcohol beers not too much wort, fortunately. Drinkable.

Bottle, directly from Tilquin. Color: Lightly hazy orangish golden, dense and stable white head. Aroma: Funky, white berries, hay, wood. Taste: Moderate tart white berries and lime, rural and lightly leathery funk, oak wood. Some old hop. Lightly creamy mouthfeel. Dry-ish finish. Very nice!

Can from Le Soupir pack. Color: Clear golden, white head. Aroma: Hoppy, grainy. Taste: Crisp, starting grainy, more malty and going to a nice spicy and lightly fruity (stone fruit) hoppy finish. Bread notes. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Moderate sweet and over moderate to medium bitterness. Nice refreshing and hoppy Pilsner.
