Can. Color: Black, dense brown head. Aroma: Mix of roasted malt, stone fruit, Port and Sherry notes. Taste: Dense and smooth, bit creamy body. Sweetish blend of fruity Sherry and Port, dried stone fruit and dark fruit (apricot, peach, fig, date, some raisin), roasted malt, hints of coffee, spicy rye hints, caramel-chocolate fudge. Medium sweet, moderate bitterness. Full body, below average carbonation. Slow sipper. Sticky mouthfeel. Boozy hints. Nice complexity. A lot of flavors, making this an interesting but also complex beer.

Can. Color: Murky brown, very thin beige head. Aroma: Dark malt, Whisky notes, fruity hints. Taste: Dark malt, some caramel, some nuts / almond, Whisky notes, light fruity hints. Medium body, low carbonation. Hoppy backbone at the dry finish. Moderate sweet and light going towards over moderate bitterness at the long lasting finish. Nice.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Grainy, yeasty hints. Taste: Sweetish, malty, grainy, yeasty notes, floral and lightly citrus fruit hoppy backbone. Somewhat more bittery finish. Ok Blond overall, I like the more hoppy finish. Don't get anything of the (gimmick) beetles though. Medium body, average carbonation. Starting moderate to over moderate sweet, finishing more to the over moderate bitter side.
