Beavertown Tinned Trio At Home Beer#2 of 3. It has a lovely West Coast style appearance, clear deeper golden with a pretty enough head, but as good as it looks it's quite bland in taste. Hoppy in the main, it does have flavour but nothing particularly stated beyond its hoppiness other than a few so-so sugars.

Can. Color: Slightly hazy orangish golden, white head. Aroma: Hoppy, orange marmalade, pineapple notes. Taste: Hoppy, pine, orange marmalade, pineapple, malty backbone with some caramel malt. Moderate sweet, medium bitterness. Medium body, just below average carbonation.

Appearance is dark amber, with a big foamy beige head. Aroma- resinous fruit, malt hints, hop resin, orange and marmalade notes, raisin hints. Taste is orange, juicy resinous hops, caramel hints, citrus fruit, orangey hoppy notes.

Can from Eltham Sainsburys. Peach,dessert pear, orange marmalade & pineapple aromas. Orange marmalade, peach & apricot jam flavours. Quite sweet with a light boozy edge.

I had this with my burger and chips tonight. Its was good with plenty of rich hops and some good balancing malt. But ever since I had Pliny the Elder I think all West Coast IPAs will struggle. Well worth a try.

Copper with a near white head. Sweet malty goodness under pine, citrus, sweet tropical fruit. Some toasted malt rounds it out. Medium body. Finish has nice bitterness with caramel and fruit. It’s a throwback done well.

Can. Tessie Cohen purchase. Near clear amber beer, good bubbly cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, thin bodied really, a mild sweetness, touch of caramel. Ripe orange hops, enlivened by a lesser brighter citrus. A little citrus peel bitterness. Light cooling pine throughout. A tidy and drinkable West Coast dipa in the trad way, but quite light.
