Taste is sweetish, rich malty, chocolate, wafer, dark fruits, berry & cherry hints, and vanilla, coffee, booze, with roasted earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, boozy fruity roasty bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Draught at Travellers Rest, Skeeby. Golden colour, thin white foam head and aroma of apple. Taste is sweet, appley, fruit, sugar, with some citric tartness. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, sweet & slight tart finish. Quite OK

Keg at Bondgate Tap, Darlington. Golden colour, thin white head and aroma of apple, funk hint. Taste is appley, tangy, alittle biscuit, straw, funk, with some tartness and drying bitter tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry tart & tannic finish. Quite drinkable

750ml bottle from Artistraw. Golden colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of apple, caramel, strawberry, toffee apple. Taste is tart, tangy, appley, fleshy, with strawberry & caramel notes, and drying acidity. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tart acidic finish. Nicely drinkable.
