(Keg at Juova, 20251221) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and almost white. Aroma had burnt malts, cocoa powder, vanilla and cinnamon. Palate was medium bodied, lightly warming and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, cinnamon, vanilla, cocoa powder, ash, light sweetness and medium bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, cocoa powder and bitterness. A surprisingly good burnt brew with many adjuncts. ABV was rather well hidden.

(Keg at Juova, 20251221) The beer poured brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had toasted malts, grass, resin and mildly molasses. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, toasted malts, resin, toffee, caramel and bitterness. Aftertaste had toasted malts, resin and bitterness. A tasty malty brew with just subtle sweetness.

(Keg at Juova, 20251221) The beer poured yellow and opaque. Its head was small and white. Aroma had mango, citrus fruits and chalk. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were citrus fruits, spiciness, mango, herbalness and bitterness. Aftertaste had mango, herbalness and bitterness. A tasty hoppy brew with some harsh notes.

(Bottle, 0.375l - 2023 vintage, from the brewery, 20251220) The beer poured golden and lightly hazy. Its head was tiny and white. Aroma had fruitiness, spices, sourness, wood and herbs. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were tartness, fruitiness, herbs, floralness, sourness, wood and bitterness. Aftertaste had tartness, wood and bitterness. A good blend of herbs and tart flavours.

(Keg at Villi Wäinö, 20251217) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had dark chocolate, wood, dark chocolate and mildly vanilla. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, vanilla, ash vinous notes and bitterness. Aftertaste was ashy, burnt and bitter. An unbalanced burnt brew with barrel effects.
