pours a clear gold with a massive head of foam, retention and lacing are excellent.
Smell is candi sugar, yeast, coriander, spices, some hoppy goodness.
The taste is candi sugar, yeast, earthy malt, spicy hops, lots of similarity to the regular Blond only amped up to 10%abv. Which is not that noticeable.
High end of medium bodied, this is one to enjoy more than once. Very cool glass.
Bitterbill has a new beer style achievement
Level 1 for Lager - Flavoured ticks with a total of 5 ticks of this sub style.
Blue Ribbon Grillo's Pickles from Pabst Brewing Company was the one that did it!

Pours a straw yellow with a finger of foam, retention and lacing are good.
Smell is big pickles, hard to get past that smell wise
Taste is fairly light pickle, base beer with the usual grain.
Light bodied, close to watery, foam is gone, lacing is gone. 1 6pack is more than enough for me.
Pours a hazy orange gold plenty of foam retention and lacing are very good.
Smell is spicy hops, some citrus, earthy malt, little bit of cardboard.
Taste is hoppy, some citrus and some spice cardboard again, too close to best by date.
Good mouthfeel, I would only buy this again if I found it much fresher.
Pours black with an inch of tan foam, retention is excellent, lacing is also excellent.
Smell is barrel rye, oatmeal, has sweet vinous notes, boozy.
Taste is oatmeal and rye barrel, noticeable vinous notes, not sure if it's meant to be tart. Boozy. Could be maybe infected?
Medium bodied, as is, not something that i would drink again.
Pours a hazy light orange with a finger of foam, retention is excellent, lacing is good.
Smell is hoppy, fruity in a tropical way, definitely has some sweet notes besides the hop bitterness.
The taste is tropical fruit, orange zest, very light dank notes, orange zest, semi sweet malt.
Medium bodied, this is good but not something I need to drink again.
Pours a hazy orange yellow with a finger of foam, retention and lacing are excellent.
The smell is big notes of pine, orange peel, tropical fruit, more pine, some sort of malt peeks through.
The taste is big pine, orange peel, grapefruit citrus, light tropical fruit. Swishing the beer in my mouth brings out some bread, perhaps, biscuit malt. Firmly bitter but lightly sweet.
Medium bodied, I would certainly drink this again.
Pours a clear pale gold, small head of foam, retention and lacing are okay.
Smell is grapefruit citrus, pine, some dank notes, tropical fruit.
Taste is pine bitterness, citrus, dankness, bit of melon, tropical fruit. Rather bitter.
Medium bodied, I would not bother drinking this again. Just not tickling my fancy.
