At the Weißbräuhaus in Ingolstadt. Brown with a frothy, beige head. Aroma promises roasted grains, charcoal, and licorice. Toasted bitter. Faint fruitiness. Dark chocolate undertone. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Nice one.

Dark with a frothy, light beige head. Caramel and clove aroma over toast grains. Taste is bitter with a moderately roasted character. Body to the full side of medium, moderate carbonation, good chewiness. Good depth and easy drinkability. Good one.
Note, I have had this one served as the beer half of a Radler, and it made probably the most pleasant Radler I’ve ever drunk.

Gold with a clear, foamy, white head. Minimal aroma, but it was served quite cold. Grainy.. maybe an unexpected touch of clove. Taste is mildly bitter, finishing the same over a thinnish, light body. Not much to it. Inoffensive.

Amber with a foamy, white head. Lots of clove with a touch of banana. Taste is mildly bitter with a dough like sweetness underneath. Light bodied, mildly watery texture. Lingering cloves. Good character for a „leichte“.

Bottle picked up in Tirana. Gold with a foamy, white head. Aroma is dusty old grain silo and a bit metallic. Taste is better .. crisply bitter with pleasant peppery touches. Finishes with touches of sweet dough and metal. Body to the light side of medium, moderate carbonation. Drinkable.

Dark gold and clear with a frothy, white head. Aroma of caramel and nut bread with faint metallic and grassy notes. Taste is very mildly sweet with lingering caramel. Medium bodied, mild carbonation. Lacks the peppery, grassy bitterness of a stronger hops profile that I like to see in a beer of this style. Drinkable though and not unpleasant.

Draft at Naiv. Cloudy yellow with a creamy, white head. Grapefruit and tangerine aroma. Bitter with fruit candy sweet undertones. Lingering citric bitter finish. Full side of medium, chewy, smooth. Nicely balanced. Tasty.

Hazy yellow with a frothy, white head. Aroma green grapes and gooseberries with a faint touch of cotton candy. Taste is bitter to acrid and extremely citric. There’s a touch of fruit candy sweetness on a big, chewy robust body, but the bitterness dominates throughout. Long, dry, citric finish. Aggressive but still pleasant.
