Visited on 23rd January 2026 on the recommendation of a local friend. It was after 10pm and the venue was packed, both inside and out on the street terrace on a fine mild night. I found a lively local clientele with an inevitable injection of tourists. Despite this it didn’t take long to find a seat at the back of the pub. A traditional, narrow beer hall style interior, as described in previous reviews. Interior is of ornate design. Beer range was mostly well known brands, but a variety of styles were available in draught and bottle, and I ticked an enjoyable Brett Saison. Jupiler appeared to be the most popular among the crowd. A solo visit, but not long without drinking company. Thanks Michel and hope you got home safely. I enjoyed Les Brasseurs and although not a ticking venue it was a fine example of a popular Brussels circuit pub.

Can on 18th January 2026 from the Uiltje Bar, Haarlem. Pours hazy amber with shallow off-white foam and spot lacing. Complex aroma of spiced fruits, citrus peel, pines and resins. Zesty peels and spiced fruitiness dominate the liquid pass, and a bitter smoky note develops to join a complex, interesting finish. Smooth mouthfeel and a full body.
