Visited November 2024. Posh grocer-cum-deli (with prices to match) on a rather gentrified street. About 40-50 widely-available beers here, mainly from the better-known London craft brewers but with a few from the USA & Europe. Not worth going out of your way for, but worth sticking your head in if you're passing - you may get a few new ticks.

Visited November 2024. Theydon_Bois has pretty much nailed the review for this. Small unit on an industrial estate, with a few tables inside and outside. 10 taps, 6 of their own, 4 guests - Stardust, Elusive, Indie Rabble and Vault City on our visit. At 3pm on a Saturday sadly we were the only visitors, so it lacked atmosphere somewhat. Tried a couple of brews; the saison was excellent. Not convinced it's the ideal location for a brewpub, but I wish them all the best.

Visited November 2024. A lovely little deli in the heart of this picturesque small town; they also run a café a few doors down. Really, really good cheese (the gorgonzola was amazing!), plus their fresh deli bar is delicious. Lots of unusual packaged goods too, including about 40 beers, many of which are ones that we don't usually see in this area. Amongst other breweries I recall 3 each from Traquair and Bewdley, some L&G & Gloucester cans, along with the local XT brewery and some Belgian and German brews. Prices are ok by deli standards, and the staff were very friendly. Nice place; I'd definitely go back if I was nearby.

Whilst this sprawling 'Dog has a huge, interesting beer selection (including a few brewed on the in-house microbrewery and more international guest beers than other 'Dogs) I didn't like it much as a venue. It was gloomy, crowded and noisy. The barman seemed reluctant to serve us at all, got half of our order wrong, and was distinctly grumpy about rectifying his mistake. The music inside was too loud for comfortable conversation so we ended up sitting at the outside tables (where it was quite nice to watch the world go by). Unlike other 'Dogs it just didn't feel comfortable, friendly or a nice place to be. Very pricey too, even by Brewdog standards. So, somewhere to visit quickly to down some brews that you probably won't get elsewhere, before moving on to a nicer place for the rest of your evening.

Small music venue way out in the north of MK - we were there to see the Dollyrots (one of the support acts, Danny Gruff, was superb too!). At the front is a large and funky bar area with very friendly staff and great music. Sadly the beer selection is not so great - just macro and faux craft (standard Beaverton) taps. There were some cask pumps, but they hadn't had real ale on for some time. The only non-standard beer was Fightback Lager bottles in the fridge (which is crap, but at least the profits from it go towards supporting small music venues like this. There also was a small beer "garden" on the tarmac to one side. The music venue was a large room with a small bar down a corridor to the right of the main bar - rather charmingly we weren't asked for tickets, but instead had our names ticked off of a register. It was a nice little venue, although sadly some people were a bit lairy and abusive (got the impression that they were regulars rather than fans of the band, which is not a good sign for the venue). Overall - come here for the music, not fit the dismal beer selection.
