A very small place. A thin room with a counter and a few seats squeezed by the counter and by the opposite wall, plus a mezzanine with a couple of tables. More than 10 people could fit maybe, but very tight. Surely a better place in the warmer months, when some tables are placed on the sidewalk. Our visit was not super pleasant as it was already pretty hot for the season and the outside seats were all taken, so we had to sit inside by a table in the mezzanine, without air conditioning in hot and humid air. Selection was 5 taps (all italian craft with quality breweries represented) + 2 fridges with bottles/cans (lots of italian craft, most notably a lot of Lambrate and a nice Alder assortment, and a few imports). Not a super extensive selection, but pretty good overall quality. No food. Super basic service: either get your beer in the fridge or ask for your tap at the counter and wait there for your pour. Ok prices: 6€ for 0.4 pours is a bit high for Italy right now but very much in line for Milan prices. All in all: a very small, sober, beer only dedicated place, with a relatively small but good selection. Something should be done to make it a bit more comfortable though (not an easy task with such little space).

Poured a slightly deep orange with a bit of haziness to it. Average sized white head, quite good retention and okay lacing. In the aroma: pleasantly soft malty base with caramel malts and a hint of nuttiness, delicate citric touch (only tangerine clearly discernible) with underlying floral hoppiness, perhaps an earthy hint. Quite interesting aroma, but not very bright/defined or strong. Aroma impressions are confirmed in taste. Taste intensity was actually very much decent (average to slightly sub-average) but taste definition and brightness was so-so in this bottle, with a hint of unclean earthiness in the background. Notes as per aroma, with average sweetness and low to medium bitterness: slight sweet edge in the mouth, balanced finish/aftertaste. Light to medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. Pretty much your classic easygoing and quite smooth german lager mouthfeel. Very much ok, couldn't strike me in any way though.

Pours a clear looking plain golden with quite some bubbly fizziness. Medium sized, relatively dense-looking head, showing good retention and nice lacing. Average intensity in a quite fresh-feeling aroma: hay/straw base with quite vivid per style grassiness, an underlying lemonish note. Simple but clean and pretty fresh. Taste notes follow the aroma closely, medium sweetness and slightly below medium bitterness (sweetness and bitterness are both slightly amped up for an helles), excellent balance in both taste and aftertaste. Quite simple but very precise taste profile, quite good freshness. Light to medium body, average carbonation; pretty lively for the style but still easily drinkable (though indeed slightly less than an average helles). Overall: a relatively intense, export leaning helles, with a hint of pilsner inclination; felt pleasantly refreshing. Another hit from Grasser.

Pours light orange to dark golden, surprisingly transaparent. Quite big sized head, about average per style, decent retention, scarce lacing. Moderate intensity in the aroma: minimal dough-like maltiness, delicate banana and bubblegum notes, a pleasant touch of citric and appleish freshness, light clove. Fairly deep and clean, but a bit muted down. Taste notes circa as per aroma, with less fruity freshness and more prominent clove spiciness, but still a bit weak/muted down. Slightly less sweet than most weizens in the overall balance; very low bitterness as usual, but probably less sweetness too. Light to medium body, average carbonation (less than usual per style); decently smooth and easygoing, though a bit flat. Overall: very much ok but not fully convincing, lacked liveliness.
