Appearance - lively on opening, fluffy white head over a solid orange body.
Nose - orange and melon with some citrus zest at the back.
Taste - melon and juicy peach with grassy hints at the back.
Palate - light to medium bodied, juicy middle and zesty finish.
Overall - good.

Appearance - murky and milky yellow. Big foamy snow white head.
Nose - pineapple and lemon sherbet.
Taste - creamy pineapple and sweet mango.
Palate - light bodied, zesty middle and finish.
Overall - good example of the style.

Appearance - golden and clear with a big foamy white head.
Nose - dank, floral, resin, orange and pine.
Taste - pine resin, bitter orange and then toffee and a woodiness at the back.
Palate - light to medium bodied, creamy middle and very bitter finish.
Overall - good example of the style.

Appearance - red smoothie colour. Gentle carbonation and s very slight hint of a head.
Nose - definitely blueberry and redcurrant with underlying fresh apple.
Taste - mainly redcurrant and sour apple. Earthiness from blueberries.
Palate - nice acidity and light bodied. Decent linger.
Overall - not sweet which is a plus.

Bottle from Appellation Wines.
Appearance - opaque black olive sheen.
Nose - brown sugar, liquorice, fennel and there is a lurking herb that may well be juniper.
Taste - more greenery but predominantly a liquorice and brown sugar thing.
Palate - medium bodied, chewy sweet and lightly roasty.
Overall - good.

Appearance - deep amber to red and clear. Thin off-white head.
Nose - caramel, toffee & fudge. Shortbread biscuits and still searching for the salt.
Taste - tonnes of caramel, salt is at the back.
Palate - medium bodied, rich texture, chewy middle and finish.
Overall - good. Not too sweet.

Appearance - matt black and opaque. Beige, thin head.
Nose - something a bit like rocky road, strawberry jam and hazelnut.
Taste - salt, chocolate mainly this time, with the confectionery coming through later.
Palate - sweet and medium plus bodied. still sweet on the finish.
Overall - ok, but not keen on adjuncts.

Appearance - clear orange with a nicely proportioned off-white head.
Nose - dank brown bread and orange.
Taste - roasty, dried red and orange fruit and bready. Maybe some bitter orange.
Palate - medium bodied, dry finish.
Overall - ok. Very drinkable if not very exciting.

Appearance - hazy orange and a light thin head, a look of creamola foam.
Nose - hay and then intense gooseberry nose, maybe even quince. Woody and funky.
Taste - salt, apple, wood and of course, juicy gooseberry.
Palate - medium bodied, funky, fruity and sour.
Overall - lovely stuff!
