Appearance - dark brown to black and opaque. Thin beige head.
Nose - dark chocolate, whisky and wood.
Taste - more dark chocolate, sweet spice like cinnamon.
Palate - fairly full bodied, dry, woody and a bit boozy on the finish.
Overall - good.

Appearance - matt to jet black. Beige, crema head.
Nose - savoury, blackberry, molasses and an edge of liquorice.
Taste - blackberry, black cherry and liquorice. Smoky tar edge.
Palate - full bodied, lean, lightly woody and not boozy.
Overall - a very complex but elegant imperial stout.

Appearance - opaque brown to black with a small but attractive beige finish.
Nose - dark chocolate, figs and raisins, prunes in booze.
Taste - raisins, prunes, chocolate and very boozy.
Palate - full bodied, sweet and boozy. In fact, a hot booze burn at the back.
Overall - good, if a little unbalanced.

Appearance - murky brown with a thin off-white head.
Nose - red fruit, actually they've put plums in it, so that's what it is. Sweet spices and toffee.
Taste - tangy sour plums, towards brown sauce, chutney.
Palate - medium bodied, tangy sour and fruity.

Appearance -
Nose - honeycomb, dark chocolate, toffee and biscoff biscuit.
Taste - biscoff biscuit and Crunchie Bar following it in. Some dark chocolate.
Palate - medium bodied, creamy and roasty sweetness.
Overall - very good.

Appearance - dirty yellow colour, not much head, gentle carbonation.
Nose - dank, sherry and wood. Perhaps some white grape.
Taste - sweetness, buttery and then a wee gap, dry, apple and wood through the finish.
Palate - medium bodied, gap in middle and then dry, zesty and slightly tart finish.
Overall - great stuff. Survived the journey, Craig, don't worry!

Nose - intense honey, tangy boozy edge.
Taste - big marmalade shred, then into intense honey.
Palate - medium bodied, boozy, some cleaning on the finish, but generally sweet.
Overall - good.

Appearance - hazy yellow. White head.
Nose - honey and brown bread.
Taste - light bready, citrus and of course honey.
Palate - light bodied, creamy texture and a bit of sweetness still on the finish.
Overall - too low ABV for a proper mead. OK.
