Small bar with a reasonable tap selection. I understand it has newish owners so doesn't quite have the quirky service of old (restrictions on how many bottles of sour beer you could have apparently!). However, it's a nice place to have a few beers.

New Amsterdam tick for me. Good selection of taps, with special flights available, though not many exciting during my visit. Small interior, but it was quite quiet on a Tuesday.

Small, cosy brewpub specialising in German style beers with a few modern examples (think Imperial Stout). Not the biggest tap selection, but they did have bottles as well.
One of the bar staff kindly showed me the brewing set up, which is on a very small scale! Definitely worth a visit.

I'm not sure you'd find this unless you knew it was there already, bit of a detour from the road and not well signposted. On arrival there was a large part of runners (?) with dance music blaring in the beer garden...uh oh.
Surprisingly, everything was calm inside, with a large selection of beers available at typical prices. Pretty spacious, with a beer shop too. Highly recommend the pulled ribs.

Visited on a wet Saturday, as did the rest of the city apparently. Busy, claustrophobic place with a small tap selection. Reasonable bottle/can selection but the list was out of date so I didn't get either of the beers I'd gone there for.

Small selection on tap. Decent bottle list though it was quite outdated with several things not available. Easily the most expensive place I visited in the city.

Fantastic selection, with loads of well priced beers. Central location and near the station so a must-visit if in Rotterdam.

Only the second brewboat I've visited! Small selection of beers, but a nice cosy atmosphere and good service. Looked to host live music too.

Large selection of beers available, though not the greatest variety on my visit with lots of ipas. Some interesting bottles too.
Close to the station so recommended on the way into/from town.
