Draft at the brewery. Chestnut amber with a ring of head that faded very fast. Nose is nutty, malt, brown sugar. Flavor amps up the brown stuff. Chewy. Some caramel and some carob now. Finishes off dry. A bit flabby. Mouthfeel is a let down. 5 5.5 6 5 5.5

Draft at the brewery. Clear gold with a ring of white head. Sour ish nose. Wheaty, farmhouse kinda vibe. Flavor is lemon and wheat. Bit stale too. Bad beer. Tart finish. 4 4 4 4 4

Draft at the brewery. Clear gold, no head. Grist, wheat and lemon nose. Tastes a little better with some grist and brioche. Light grass. Crisp enough. Beach beer. 4 5 6 5 5

Tap at the brewery then bottle later. Light haze over a orange gold body. White head. Nose has hop, C hops mostly, light grist, dried herbs and grasses. Flavor is old school, pine and dried citrus and some soap. Decent enough. Bite on the end. Mostly dry. 7 6 6 6 6

375ml. Think this cost me $35 at the brewery. I get this is estate grown and Virginia bourbon barrel aged but damn, that's steep. Deep, oily, brown, ring of khaki head. Legs. Nose is deeply malty, grain, butterscotch, nuts, huge treacle. Sweet, malty, grainy and the barrel and booze arrive. Full bodied, long, sticky finish. Good. 8 8.5 7.5 7 7.5
