So I went out of my way to find this and got a whole 12er. I hope I like it, jk it'll be fine, at worst a lawnmower beer. On to the review: pale golden, crystal clear, rapidly fading but very full white head. It's really refreshing to see a beer that just looks like a beer these days. Nose is subtle hints of grain, very similar to regular Pabst (which is usually too grainy and corny for my tastes). Am I detecting some actual floral hop? Its very faint if it's there but I think it is. Flavor is more about the grainy malt profile, there's a decent but light bitterness at finish, but no appreciable hop flavors. Something feels missing but I can't quite put my finger on it, maybe just lacking a certain depth that gives it an almost watery element.

OK I'm slow on the uptake. I didn't quite get it at first with the name of this brewery, at least not until drinking this one. They mention terpenes on all their stuff, and in this one they really come through and only then did I put 2 and 2 together. So this is not very beer like, are there hops at all? There is a sweet caramel and chocolate presence that is vaguely malt-like (but kinda not really?), minimal bitterness other than the dank terpenes, which show up both in aroma and flavor, and possibly contribute to an earthy herbal bitterness though very faint. Brown color. Like the raspberry wheat, a very very light body.

Interesting idea here, as one of the big problems with the NA beers is they can just be bland, so why not add a touch of raspberry (or other fruit) flavor/syrup. And on that front, this works well, the fruit aroma and flavor are OK, but one problem is that this beer remains super thin and dry, watery profile. And thus the lack of sweetness to accompany that raspberry flavor comes across like one of those La Croix fizzy water products. Hazy pink color, has soda qualities. I can detect just the barest hint of terpenes in the finish, as advertised. Its not terrible, I can drink these but I don't think it will satisfy like a regular beer.

Hmm, so in my previous rating I complained that their pilsner (that I selected in favor of this one) drank a lot like a premium lager. So a week later i go back to the store and see these still sitting there and grab a sixer, wondering how they'll compare. And well, these aren't premium lagers despite the label, its light lager. Quite thin, grainy, corn especially. Mild hop zip at the finish. Pale gold color, foamy but quick fading head. Its pretty drinkable with slightly more flavor than most macro light lagers, but I guess I was hoping for more, like maybe an all-malt profile.

This is OK. I'm loathe to rate to style, but I found this on the shelf next to their "premium lager" and I hesitated for a moment to pick between them and opted for the pils. But you know, if you didn't tell me, I might peg this as just a premium lager. It has a touch of corn and grain on the malt profile, and the hops are fairly restrained, there is only just a faint whiff of something floral on the nose, no discernible hop flavors, and low to medium bitterness. So its above average as a beer, and especially as a "american lager" but below average as a pils. I don't know what that means for my numerical rating which I haven't scored yet, this is just my reaction. Pale gold color but good sized and long lasting head. Can from publix in Oviedo FL

Fairly solid IPA in the standard vein. Copper, light biscuity malt, resinous hops. Fairly dry, somewhat tannic or astringent with a heavy bitterness. Nice to see some IBUs again lol. Can from Publix in Oviedo FL --- Beer merged from original tick of Five Points IPA on 18 May 2016 at 08:40 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 8.5. Original review text: Nice one. Draft at C&L. Fairly complex hop nose, pine resin, tropical fruit (a funky pineapple maybe?), sweat sock, maybe some citrus but less of that. Flavor more resiny, solid malt backbone but it doesn’t get in the way, you’re still mostly thinking about the hops. Balanced finish. Deep amber color.
