Very dark. Chocolate and coconut aroma, nice and rich. A bit boozy but otherwise nice chocolate, good sugars. Some harshness from the alcohol.

Dark brown. Lots of hazelnut, though it comes across a touch harsh. Good base, but hazelnut seems to carry a lot of alcohol with it.

Pale, slight haze. Medium head. Bright aroma - weedy and citrusy. Well-balanced, clean pale malt, nice cannabis accent to the hops.

Gold, lacks head. Lots of saaz up front on the nose. Light body, oddly fruity, juicy, not quite the czech lager vibe, really.

Speedway Stout - Salted Caramel from AleSmith Brewing Company

Dark brown. Aroma’s good - lots of chocolate and caramel. Taste is a bit thin, harsh, the caramel coming across artificial over top the speedway. These elements are not coming together. Too fake.

Speedway Stout - Barrel-Aged Vietnamese Coffee Islander Joy (2026) from AleSmith Brewing Company

Dark brown. Rich, soft and sweet. Loads of coconut, nice coffee, and the barrel brings everything together. Excellent variant.

Black, rich, a touch boozy but also crazy rich. Bitter dark chocolate, chicory, umami, this is crazy stuff, no adjuncts just pushing the bounds of intensity. Having just tasted 8-10 Modern Times BA products in the past 36 hours, I can still say that this stood above them as one of the most exceptional beers I've had in a very long time.
