Can 44 cl. Pours an opaque black with a dense, fluffy and lacing beige head. Very faint roast aroma. Light body, lots of licorice notes and subtle roast. Hardly any bitterness. Very uncomplicated, easy going and quaffable Porter. 140926

Can 33 cl. Pours a clear, dark amber with a dense, fluffy off-white head. Massive Bamberg smoke aroma - really intense. Solid, malty caramelly body again with these wild smoke note. Bit fizzy carbonation. Subdued bitterness. Too smoky for my personal liking. 140926

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque orangey golden with a roughish, lacing off-white head. Lovely tropical aroma, some grapefruit. Fairly light in body, a slightly sweet tropical fruitiness and a very subdued, finishing bitterness. Very good value for €2,00. 130926

Rich, solid body, more of the above - figgy and overripe fruit. Subdued bitterness. this brewery has certainly improved from the early years when pretty much everything was severely infected. 130926

Super rich body with more of the above, loads of malts but never really sweet. Sufficient balancing hops, a hint of roastiness and warming alcohol finish. Solid. 130926
