The taste follows the nose: Roasted malt flavor with a hint of dark cocoa in the finish. Medium body. A little thin for a stout. Smooth and clean. Medium-light carbonation. Not bitter. Good flavor profile, but not quite as creamy or meaty as a Guinness. An enjoyable substitute at a good price.
