Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours slightly hazy light amber with little off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, ethanol. Tastes pretty bitter with some sweetness. Medium bodied, alcoholic warmth, slightly bitter finish.

Bottle at Esbjerg Camping, Esbjerg. Pours almost black with dense off-white head that lasts long. Aroma of roasted malt, tropical fruits, pine needles, dark bread. Tastes slightly sweet with with balancing bitterness coming from both hops and roasted malt. Some sourness. Medium bodied, dry mouth feel. Although the beer's name (Limfjords-IPA) is more a marketing trick to get most out of the reputation of the legendary Limfjordsporter, it is easy to recognize this beer as a sibling of Limfjordsporter.

Shared can at home. Pours hazy golden with white head. Aroma of fruity esters, cookies, some floral hop notes. Tastes slightly bitter with some sweetness. Thin to medium bodied. Slightly bitter finish. Tastes rather like a (poor) strong pilsner with fruity esters than a real spring bock.

Can at home. Pours dark brown with beige head. Aroma of dark bread, nuts, some roasted notes. Tastes slightly sweet with balancing bitterness. Medium bodied. A good Schwarzbier - lacks some bitterness and has too much body. The beer reminds me to Salikatt's brown ale.
