Can @ The Hoptimist, Manhattan. It was meet the brewer day and I was lucky to be there. The pilsner was slightly cloudy light yellow with a small foamy head, faint doughy aroma, high carbonation, mildly bitter malty taste with faint honey like flavor, thin body, medium finish. Not very crisp but still fine.

Draught @ Gun Hill Publick House, Brooklyn (Jan 2025). Opaque dark brown with a small frothy tan head that quickly disappears leaving a ring, woodsy coffee-rum aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter woodsy dark chocolate-rum taste, alcohol undertones, thin smooth body, long woodsy finish. Nice flavors with molasses-alcohol aftertaste.

Draught @ Gun Hill Publick House, Brooklyn (Jan 2025). Dark brown with red highlights, small foamy beige head, caramel aroma, high carbonation, mildly bitter caramel taste with toffee flavor, thin body, long finish. Mellow but not bad.

Can. Pours clear reddish dark brown with a large spongy tan head, caramel-toasted malt aroma, high carbonation, medium bitter caramel malt taste with toffee, rye flavor, smooth thin body, long finish. Smooth and tasty.
