Visited in May 2024. Irish bar in the outskirts of New Haven with 20 taps, good good, and a rowdy crowd. Looks like a blue collar place, with reasonable prices. About half the beers were Connecticut locals. As usual there wwre quite a few large format TVs showing European soccer. Nice place for a stop.

Bottle, from Mitsuwa Market, Edgewater NJ. Pours cloudy dark brown with faint red highlights, small frothy beige head, caramel-dark roasted malt aroma, medium carbonation, bitter dark roasted malt taste with distinct oyster flavor, smooth body, long bitter finish. I did like it despite the bitterness.

Can from Whole Foods, Manhattan (Oct 2024). Pours cloudy bright yellow with a frothy beige head, citrus-lime aroma, adequate carbonation, mildly bitter citrus-lime peel taste with faint unripe mango. thin smooth body, long finish. Refreshing lime taste.

Draught @ Beer on the Wall, Elmhurst (Sept 2024). Hazy bright yellow with a small foamy off-white head, pineapple-citrus aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter citrus-pineapple-mango taste, thin body, long finish. Decent NEIPA.

Visited in September 2024. Large beer store with 19 beers and a cider on tap on the main street of Elmhurst, IL. Hundreds of cans in fridges, including local options. A very nice beer store.
