Sample, thanks fonefan! (Double) Black, minimal head. Aroma of whiskey, licorice and treacle. Sweet with full to massive body and heavy, rounded mouthfeel. Licorice and treacle, whiskey and coffee. Warming bitter finish. The whishey barrel polishes a little away of the boldness of the the Double Black mess.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Globbingly viscous black. Buttery chocolate milkshake aroma. Extremely sweet with thick, viscous mouthfeel. Cloying like a chocolate milk shake. No sign of fermentation - just artificial and cloying. Please remind me never to spend a penny on White Dog ever.

Canned, from Systembolaget. Almost clear paleish golden, small head. Aroma of yuzu and grapefruit. Dryish with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Piney grapefruit on slender, grainy malt. Spicy yuzu. Long bitter finish.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Clear golden, small head. Aroma of pears, marzipan and grain. Dryish with medium body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Grainy, slender malt. Spicy, peppery and marzipany with hay and pears. Peppery bitterish finish. Dry and elegant.
