The next beer might even be better. B.C."H." = British Cask "Head" - to be perceived as some disparate lonely looking bubbles, uncertain of their CO² content, and because of their scarcity, of undefinable colour. UFO's: Unspeakable Floating Obscenities MF: NO, that isn't it. That's mouthfeel, in civilized countries. I hereby solemny propose a law to be instated by all beergeeks, -amateurs, -lovers, -tasters, - enthusiasts that forthwith the use of the infernal spice, known as coriander, is forbidden for at least the five first years of brewing, and later only to be tolerated by explicit consent of minimum five different accredited beerorganisations. Infringements ought to be sanctioned by denouncement to the international beerpress and public drainpour of the offending brew.

Fluffy, dwindling yellow head over hazy, finely carbonated copper-golden beer. Very spicy nose, drugstore-like aroma's, herbal. Sourish-herbal, ending in herbal bitterness, quite outspoken. Flavour of bitter orange, kumquat, citruspeel. Light body, some acidthinning. Light carbonation and long-lasting flavours. Not one for the fainthearted, the herbal bitterness bites!

Towering pink-purplish head, stable; fully opaque, almost black purple beer. Horseblanket, dark fruit & berries, violets, purple gooseberry, (unripe) elderberries. Cassis juice, elderberry, elderberry syrup thinned, ink. Warming up, the elderberry gets more obvious, gumming the cassis flavour. Feels better bodied, oiler than most real lambics. Very well-carbonated. Special.

Yellowish, small head over copperish orange beer. First appearance of floormop Bretts @ Boon. Disconcerting. Almonds. Again floormop Brett. OK, it says "wild", not "spontaneous", but this is off-putting. Exactly as the first American all-Brett beers. Light body, well-carbonated. Poor, simply poor. Boon - unworthy. Frank, De Vits draait zich om in z'n graf. Txs to Stef!

Unclear brown beer under a small, disappearing cream-coloured head. Very sour nose, acetic, wood, unripe grapes, vinegar. Bit more lactic, bit less acetic in the mouth. Buttermilk, diary, again grapes, wood. Oakleaves dried, non-sweet (dark) fruit. Serious acidthinning and -burn. Feels better carbonated than it looks. General impression betters warming up. Harsh. Not unlike some Verzet O.B's.

Pours viscously as motor oil to a few seconds of tan head, making way for brown-black opaque beer. Coffee, roast, roasted nuts, waffle syrup. Bitterish - from the roast - over sweet dark malts' jumble. Some resin all the same and cacao powder for the winter cup. There is a slight sourish impression, as from gooseberry. Aftertaste sports black chocolate. Obviously full bodied, viscous, rich. Good carbonation and furious alcoholheat. Classic. Txs to Stef!

Fast disappearing white head over fully hazy yellow beer. Nutty nose, slight oxydation, exotic fruit, passion-, citrus etc. Again some oxydation (well within BBd), but also oak, citruspeel. Bit vegetal bitterness. Pretty creamy MF, despite the disappearing head; quite oily-viscous, resiny. At least medium bodied. Decent - if it weren't for the premature oxydation, it would be pretty good. Txs to Stef!

White head gone in seconds over fully muddy yellow beer, pineapplejuice-like. Asafoetida, lime nose, limepeel, very citrussy hops, resin. Bit putty, citruspeel, citrusoil. Bitter, not much else. Filled by the resins. Well-carbonated, ultra-slick. Nice nose, rest is OK.
