The next beer might even be better.
B.C."H." = British Cask "Head" - to be perceived as some disparate lonely looking bubbles, uncertain of their CO² content, and because of their scarcity, of undefinable colour.

MF: NO, that isn't it. That's mouthfeel, in civilized countries.
I hereby solemny propose a law to be instated by all beergeeks, -amateurs, -lovers, -tasters, - enthusiasts that forthwith the use of the infernal spice, known as coriander, is forbidden for at least the five first years of brewing, and later only to be tolerated by explicit consent of minimum five different accredited beerorganisations. Infringements ought to be sanctioned by denouncement to the international beerpress and public drainpour of the offending brew.

Small pink head over reddish, faintly veiled terra cotta beer. Fruity, whiff of acetic acid, fruitacid; farmyard. Red fruit/berries, hint of pomegranate (?), cassis and mould. Lambic - Kestemont again! - very subdued, as if diluted with some very neutral beer or with Meerts? Acidthinning, light -burn, refreshing, fruity character. Typical Kestemont. And then Mannekes , OK, Vaccinium corymbosum of Amerikaanse blauwbes wordt vaak blauwe bes genoemd. Maar uw tekeningske klopt niet hè, DAT zijn cassis, Ribes nigrum.

Explosive gushing to as much beer on the table as in the glasses. Ending in a good yellowish head over some metallic orange beer. - 2 points. Pharmaceutical, Brasil nuts, wild yeasts, arachide. Old, oxydized nuts, oxydized malts, and Brettanomyces, of course. Paste made from... scorzanero? Of course overcarbonated. Slick, medium bodied. Bretts as an infection, I fear. Txs to Stef!

Slow gushing to huge, white head over hazy yellow beer. Bretts jumping out of the glass, floormop variety, pickles, Polish vegetable preserves. Again Bretts & pickled vegetables. Not much else, maybe some pineapple, bit pharmaceutical. Light body, very well-carbonated, slick but fresh seen the acidity. Too bad for the Nectarons, but they are inconspicous. If you base your beer on the Bretts only, it often turns out pretty empty. As is here the case.

Small head, fast disappearing over fully hazy yellow beer, opaque. Asafoetida, dry herbs, yeast, other grains. Faint hint at caramel. Buttermilk, lunaria. Bitterish, fresh vegetables and exotic fruit - starfruit, guave, longan. Rootspices, vegetable leaf. Quite slick & creamy - the other grains are active. Good carbonation, alleviating the hopoil stickyness. The more hops - the more malts needed for balance - often dulling the overall flavour: as here.

Quite good, dense, caramel-tinted head over foxy, darker amber beer. Sweetish, woody, wet grain, caramel, cardboard. Darker green leaves, caramel, watercolour paint; finish has a weird just-not-sourishness, drier. Oxydized malts. Medium bodied, well-carbonated, quite slick. A thirteen to the dozen Belgian. This kind was here already 40 years ago, and it wasn't even exciting then. Txs to Stef!

Quite good, lacey head, yellowish, over foxy orange beer, faintly veiled & well-carbonated. Quite aromatic nose, aromatic hops, almonds, orange, but also a little bit oxydation (well within BBd). Bitterish, mineral - hard water? Dry hops, English; herbal/spicy, oakleaf. I thing the wheat helps the MF, even if not discernible in the taste. Good carbonation, almost refreshing. Nice, convincing in style. Txs to Stef!

Very slightly aged Very good, ultra-dense whipped eggwhite-like head over all in all clear (?) beer, finely carbonated. Malt, cookies, whiff of noble hops. Artichoke, short whiff of pickles. Very malty, pale malts, bit neutral if enlivened by good carbonation. Quite restrained restsugars, dry summer grains. Light body, light gristslickness, good carbonation. Not that much difference with the ordinary Kölsch - might be more outstanding with a bit livelier yeast. Txs to Stef!

Thick flamingo head over hazy, deep-red beer. Cocos, cacao, red fruit, vanilla, vanilla waffles. Breakfast cereals with dried red fruit, revived in skimmed milk with a serious dash of vanilla. Cinnamon and almonds. Acidthinning and -burn to a certain degree. Not very carbonated, fruitslick. Much better as expect... sorry, feared to be honest. It's definitely not overly pastry, although a bit more restriction on the vanilla would have been nicer, IMHO.
