UFO's: Unspeakable Floating Obscenities MF: NO, that isn't it. That's mouthfeel, in civilized countries. I hereby solemny propose a law to be instated by all beergeeks, -amateurs, -lovers, -tasters, - enthusiasts that forthwith the use of the infernal spice, known as coriander, is forbidden for at least the five first years of brewing, and later only to be tolerated by explicit consent of minimum five different accredited beerorganisations. Infringements ought to be sanctioned by denouncement to the international beerpress and public drainpour of the offending brew.

Small white head, reasonably stable over veiled golden beer. Spicey hops, even just a bit of white pepper. Rainwater, sweetwater algae. Again pepper, joined by some meaty esters. Some grains building a background. Light body, very good carbonation. Interesting, if certainly not stellar.

Draught Small rim over fully hazy yellow-golden beer. Citrus, bit lemony, and somehow, I get whiffs of leather. There are hops, but not in an IPA-way. Dry, if lively thanks to the carbonation. A hint at (hopped) sparkling wine, and very lightly herbal. Long-lasting flavours, spritzier carbonation than the looks suggested. Light, and promised hops might be there, but it wants to be hyped up quite a bit.

Small white rim over pale golden beer, the colour of white wine. Very nice, inviting herbal nose, as entering a drugstore, rainwater and indeed hints at honey; also a tad pharmaceutical. More pharmaceutical tastewise, mannah, and spices. Less honeyish in flavour. The finish has a short bitterness. Beer is a tad too modest in presence. Very light body, obviously. Quite carbonated, spritzy. Too demure, it might pack a bit more punch from the honey. Nose is great.

Small yellowish head, stable, over UFO-laden muddy orange-golden beer. Quite yeasty, dusty, bit spicy; white candi sugar, orangepeel. Dry, faintly bitterish main taste. Again quite spicy and yeast-intoned. Warming up, more and more fruity esters appear. Very well-carbonated feel, slick, faint hints at the alcohol. Not half bad, lively (young) triple.

Draught Small, dense cream head over opaque deep chestnut beer. Fresh malts' galore, some - if not much - coloured, parsley, bread. Lots of malt, some dark sugars, ever so slight sourish tang. Finish is sweeter, fruitier, some esters. Light body, sticky. Light carbonation. Better than remembered, used to be a sickly-sweet concoction decennia ago.

Juicy & Wild Malvas-Elle from Lambiek Fabriek (Sint-Pieters-Leeuw, Belgium 🇧🇪)

Head gone in an eyeblink; fully hazy peach-coloured beer. Peach (yes), shoepolish, horseblanket, bit of rhubarb. Very delicate flavours of yellow fruit upon harsh lactic acid, which dominated. Finally dry, sour white grapes, even some salicylic acid. Tannine-rich, which stresses the acidburn. Serious acidburn and -thinning, dry-out effect. For the second time in a row, harsh, severe Lambiek Fabriek. Might have to do with the chosen grapes, but LF has done better, more malse lambiek.
