The next beer might even be better. B.C."H." = British Cask "Head" - to be perceived as some disparate lonely looking bubbles, uncertain of their CO² content, and because of their scarcity, of undefinable colour. UFO's: Unspeakable Floating Obscenities MF: NO, that isn't it. That's mouthfeel, in civilized countries. I hereby solemny propose a law to be instated by all beergeeks, -amateurs, -lovers, -tasters, - enthusiasts that forthwith the use of the infernal spice, known as coriander, is forbidden for at least the five first years of brewing, and later only to be tolerated by explicit consent of minimum five different accredited beerorganisations. Infringements ought to be sanctioned by denouncement to the international beerpress and public drainpour of the offending brew.

Pours viscously to small russett rim over virtually black beer. Deep, complex nose, with fusels, dried dark fruit, alcoholic reduction with fruit & brown sugar. Alcohol & fusels, elderberry syrup, again dark fruit as plums. Coffee - true, but quite hidden. Very faint sourish lining. Very syrupy, oily; low carbonation, alcoholheat. Not bad - and that the fusels dominate the coffee is quite OK with me! Txs to Stef!

Bottle indicates Sallands as commissioned brewer Furious gushing to enormous, reddish beige head, very stable over almost black beer. Coffee, yes, and something perfumey but at the same time artificial smelling, plastic of some kind. Wood, liquorice. Coffee, roast, liquorice. Faint sourish (stout-?) lining. Flavour is free of the artificial streak - but also less aromatic. Feels better bodied than it probably is. Overcarbonated, slick. It's not unmeritorious, but it might have turned out a lot better. Sallands ought to do better than this CO² bomb.

Small if resistant transparent head over hazy reddish amber beer. Turf jumping out of the glass, even phenolic smells. Faint dried fruit, unfortunately not much else. Sourish, again smoked. In the mouth the barrels come out even more - but as to Calvados...? Islay, yes! There is however a faint tast as from (dried) sour appleskins. Even some acetic acid, prunes. Almost astringent (the appleskins?); medium bodied at best. Not very carbonated, dry. I'm at a loss whence the peatflavour. It might have been a bit more lively.

Good off-white head over coppery amber beer, lively carbonated. Autumn leaves, caramel, slight oxydation (well within BBd), rosewater and a whiff of perfume. Liquorice, caramel, leaves, faint orangepeel, dry cookies with orangejelly. Very well-carbonated, slick, almost sticky; medium bodied at best. Doesn't fit the IPA moniker for me. Txs to Stef

Good, slowly collapsing amberish tinted head over quite hazy amber beer. New World hops, fruity esters, bit of caramel, even banana. Husks. Sweetish, hint of tobacco, and the fruity hopesters as seen in the nose. Very aromatic. Faint flavour of rust. Quite slick, medium bodied at best. Good carbonation. Interesting, original twist on amber. Sweet but not too sweet.

Sampled as Kehlengold Kellerpils Thick, ever so slightly yellowish head, stable, over clear, deeper golden beer. Grassy, garden weeds, spring leaves and a whiff of honey. Bitterish, again grassy, slight grainy/pale malty sweetness, but finish is more bitter again, faintly metallic. Quite gristslick, medium carbonation, rather light body, if certainly not empty. Decent Pilsner. Txs to Stef!

Shortlived off-white head over red-orange amber beer, clear. Fruity nose; fruitgums, raspberry, felt. Demure nose, certainly for Rodenbach. Sour raspberry. Some lactic acid, fruitacids and -esters, finally way more complex than the nose suggested. Light body, acidthinning; good, if quasi invisible carbonation. Nice fruitbeer, satisfying, but absolutely nowhere revolutionary. Txs to Stef
